CRESTA TAXIS SCOOPS UP COMMUNITY SUPPORT WITH FREE ICE CREAM AND CHARITY DRIVE
Cresta Taxis is set to sweeten up the weekend for families in Deeside and Mold, offering free ice cream for children as part of a community initiative that will also raise funds for a local charity.
The event will unfold at Cresta's offices, with ice cream served from 12pm to 3pm this Saturday, June 14, in Connah's Quay, and on Sunday, June 15, in Mold.
The taxi company has teamed up with local entrepreneur-run business Keep It Sweet Chester, hiring their ice cream trailer for the occasion.
While children can enjoy a complimentary treat, adults are encouraged to donate any amount they wish. All proceeds will go to a local charity chosen by public vote. Residents are urged to nominate their favourite local charities on social media, with the organisation receiving the most votes at the end of the weekend set to receive the full donation amount.
A spokesperson for Cresta Taxis expressed gratitude to the community, stating: "On behalf of all the team at Cresta Cars, we would like to thank YOU, the local community, for supporting us."
They also hinted at future community engagement, adding: "In doing so, we are able to do things like this, and this is just the start. We have a lot more planned for the local communities going forward so don’t forget to like and share our page, and keep your eyes peeled for more updates and what we have planned for our amazing local communities."
This weekend's event promises a delightful treat for local families while channeling support directly back into the community.
