VALE OF GLAMORGAN PH DRIVERS LAUNCH PETITION FOR REMOVAL OF YELLOW COUNCIL DOOR STICKERS

Drivers say they are duel licence holders and can already work for more than one operator - hackneys have red signage and PHVs yellow but they state the public don't know the difference and try and flag down PHVs in the street.

They also state that in a digital connected age council stickers which can be easily amended and copied are now obsolete as customers who book a private hire vehicle now receive all pertinent details including; driver's name, vehicle with reg number and licensed council plate number,by text or email before the vehicle arrives.

Furthermore, councils such as Cardiff and Wolverhampton have already removed door signs and it is essential for Vale of Glamorgan Council to align with these forward-thinking policies.

If you agree show your support by clicking the link below to sign the petition: https://www.change.org/.../abolish-vale-of-glamorgan...
