YORK POLICE SEEK INFORMATION AFTER TAXI DAMAGED IN CITY CENTRE

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a taxi was damaged with a screwdriver in an incident near York Minster.

The criminal damage and public order offence took place on Monday, September 8, at approximately 1:30pm, at the taxi rank in Duncombe Place.

Authorities state that the incident began as an argument before escalating to the use of a screwdriver to damage the vehicle.

Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
