TAXI DRIVER ALLEGEDLY THREATENED WITH GLASS BOTTLE IN CLYDEBANK

A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following an alleged incident where a taxi driver was 'threatened with a glass bottle' in Clydebank.

The alleged altercation took place on Clarence Street and police were called to the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: "On Tuesday 21st October at 7pm at Clarence Street in Clydebank, a 49-year-old female was arrested and charged for making threats towards a taxi driver with a glass bottle."

A report on the incident has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
