A Southampton taxi driver was recently cited by police for a series of traffic violations, including a "highly dangerous manoeuvre" at a roundabout, using a mobile phone while driving, and not wearing a seatbelt.
On Sunday night, August 3, officers on patrol in Eastleigh witnessed the cabbie's dangerous driving.
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating: "To make matters worse the driver was using their mobile phone and not wearing a seatbelt."
The driver, from Southampton, has been "reported for use of a mobile phone whilst driving and not wearing a seatbelt," according to the police.
The spokesperson added that "suitable words of advice" were also given regarding the dangerous driving manoeuvre.
