A taxi driver has been caught on camera appearing to BEAT UP two policemen.
The shocking incident was recorded around 4pm when the traffic officers stopped the taxi-type vehicle.
The order to halt was made at the Ermita Iztapalapa Road in Mexico City - but when the man got out of his car, he can be seen on the clip starting to beat the officers before making off.
The police, who are part of the Ministry of Public Security (Secretaría de Seguridad Pública de la Ciudad de México), do not seem to be badly hurt.
The footage shows the police pull over what looks like a taxi and ask the man to get out.
He does in time, but as the officers speak to him, he seems to lose his temper, grabbing a piece of paper - perhaps a ticket - from one of the policemen.
Left alone with the other officer he stands very close to him, wedging him up against the car, before using his shoulder to barge him out of the way in an attempt to jump into his car .
The other officer returns, but the driver seems angry, and punches both men to the ground repeatedly.
The trio then move out of the shot under the pedestrian bridge.
The moment was posted on YouTube by Operaciones Especiales Mexico after it was filmed from the bridge.
It is not known if the taxi driver was stopped.
