Manchester Airport has created a dedicated private hire drop-off and holding area where vehicles can wait before completing their jobs on the main campus.
It is hoped this will remove the need for vehicles to wait on residential streets and in lay-bys and other spare patches of land, which has been a source of a significant number of complaints from the community.
Details of the site’s location and terms and conditions of its use are shown below.
Manchester Airport intends to maintain open communications with the trade about the facility to work towards a longer-term sustainable solution.
