Four men have been rushed to hospital after a quadruple stabbing just a day after three others were injured in a shooting in the same area. The group of four, all in their 20s, have been taken to hospital with stab wounds after police were called to Fraser Road in Enfield at around 5.55pm today. There is currently no word on any of their conditions, however the incident is believed to be linked to yesterday’s attack.
Police confirmed that no arrests have been made at this stage. A crime scene remains in place this evening.
The incident comes just 24 hours after a shotgun was fired into the back of a taxi on Gordon Road, Enfield, injuring a 16-year-old boy and two men in the process. Scotland Yard said: ‘It is very early in the investigation but it believed to be linked to the shooting last night. ‘A crime scene has been put in place and Fraser Road has been closed. ‘Enquiries continue.’
No arrests have been made in either investigation. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police on 101.
A petition calling for Erewash cabbies to be allowed to have fully-tinted windows in their taxis has been rejected over fears that vehicles could be used to enable the abuse of vulnerable children and adults.
