If you're looking for love, baring all on a national TV show probably wouldn't be your first thought.
But as Somersetlive reports that's exactly what Andy Snook, a 62-year-old taxi driver from Taunton did when he took part in the dating show Naked Attraction, flashing every inch of his body in the hopes of winning a date.
The Channel 4 show pits six contestants against each other, who all vie for a date while stood naked in a booth which slowly reveals more and more of their bodies as other contestants are eliminated.
Each booth has its own colour, and Andy was placed in the blue booth.
He was battling it out for a date with 43-year-old admin clerk Cathy from Hertfordshire, who felt it was time for her to settle down.
Andy was described as a 'hulk of a man' by one of his fellow contestants, and made his way through to the final, beating a fire dancer called Cassius to secure a date with the blonde.
Cathy told Andy she thought he seemed 'good fun' and was taken with his 'good teeth' and 'nice deep voice'.
For his part, Andy said he was 'blown away by her looks and beauty.'
Their first date seemed to go well with a meal followed by drinking, dancing and a night in a hotel, with Andy saying he 'really liked her' and 'thought there was a connection'.
But when the show revisited the couple five weeks later, things all seemed to have gone to pot.
Cathy told the show she felt Andy was making excuses not to see her, and their reunion soon descended into an argument, with her calling him and 'idiot' and a 'liar'.
Ever the gentleman, Andy told her she had been fun to go on a date with, before they began to bicker once more.
